In collaboration with Berlin cryptoangels and research group 2 „Production Possibilities of the Maker Culture“ from the Weizenbaum Institute, we hosted a feminist cryptoparty at the Berlin Open Lab. Together with participants from different disciplines, we looked at how digital tools and services that we use each day differ from each other and why this matters. The aim of the workshop was to provide a simple framework for making informed choices on which tools to use in the digital space, hereby building the information exchange on the least prior knowledge of the participants. The feminist cryptoparty is an ongoing project in the series of educational workshops by the research group.
